One of the innovations we will be presenting at automatica is the new PPD pneumatic positioning unit. It now also enables more flexibility for pneumatic grippers through variable and precise control of the gripper fingers and regulation of gripping force and speed. Required application parameters for defined gripper series are already stored on the unit - saving time during commissioning.

We also have a new generation of linear direct axes - the SLD series. With these dynamic, heavy-duty axes with electric linear direct drive, users achieve greater productivity in high-speed assembly and handling processes thanks to short cycle times.
