Organized by VDMA Robotics + Automation, umati@automatica demonstrates the power of connected machines, enabling seamless communication regardless of manufacturer or technology. “By scanning a QR code attached to the exhibits – machine vision systems, robots and tightening systems - visitors will gain instant access to machine data on their smartphone. The result: data-driven insights, enhanced efficiency and streamlined operations”, says Bernd Heitzmann, Director VDMA Integrated Assembly Solutions.

Demonstrating OPC UA Companion Specifications

“umati implements – among numerous others - the OPC UA Companion Specifications for machine vision, robotics and tightening systems, the result of a joint standardization effort by the VDMA Robotics + Automation Association and its member companies.
